Job Description

Reporting to the Category Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying market and consumer trends. This individual will be the specialist for various databases, providing clear reports and insights into market performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for monthly performance results communication and market database management:

  • Communicate the performance for all Circana and Nielsen related analyses, and other databases.
  • Act as the primary contact for Circana and Nielsen data issues, leading database clean-up and related projects.
  • Coordinate the monthly note.
Draws insights from market and retailer's data:
  • Track market/category evolution from diverse perspectives: retailer, channel, total market using NPD, Nielsen data.
  • Track and anticipate category growth within the Beauty market by channel and build projections.
Builds on categories' O+O Shopper insight:
  • Demonstrate an understanding of shopper metrics and analyze shopper dynamics to drive category growth.
  • Utilize U&A Studies, One Intelligence/International insights, and industry publications to generate consumer insights that validate or question data.
Activates Business Drivers:
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of market categories.
  • Coach the internal team in the analysis of their business performance.
  • Build relationships with marketing & commercial teams by providing relevant data on the business.
  • Keep up to date with market and retailer news and proactively share insights within the organization.
  • Prepare high-executive presentations (Zone, T2T, etc.) for the VP and Division President.
Develop expertise for the category & Luxe brands, helping understand market dynamics & growth drivers:
  • Possess knowledge of the trends, dynamics & behavior by category, channels, and brand.
  • Demonstrate strong progress in story building & storytelling with numbers.
