We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused

Assistant Manager / Sales Associate

to join our team. This role combines leadership responsibilities with frontline sales support, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for every customer. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and passionate about both customer service and footwear, with the added ability to support the store's presence on social media.

Key Responsibilities:



Drive sales through a strong understanding of the brands and styles we carry Process sales, returns and exchanges accurately using the POS system Greet & assist customers with warmth, professionalism & enthusiasm Provide personalized styling and product recommendations. Support daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and merchandising. Resolve customer inquiries and concerns with patience and professionalism. Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment. Manage and organize stock

Social Media & Marketing Responsibilities:



Capture and post engaging content (photos, videos, stories) showcasing products, promotions, and in-store events. Respond to customer comments and messages in a timely, professional manner. Build on existing social media platforms with the help of the store manager by developing, planning and executing a social media strategy including social media campaigns. Track engagement and provide feedback on content performance to improve online reach.

Qualifications & Skills:



2+ years of retail or customer service experience required; footwear or fashion background preferred. Leadership or supervisory experience an asset. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and an eye for visual presentation. Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently. Available to work Saturdays and occasional evenings.
