Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Restoration Technician to join our team. This role involves restoring properties affected by water, fire, mold, or other damages, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration is a plus but not required; training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in the restoration industry while making a positive impact on clients' lives.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning and sanitation of affected areas using appropriate techniques and equipment Utilize hand tools and power tools to remove damaged materials and prepare sites for restoration Assist with construction tasks such as demolition, drywall installation, and minor repairs Operate specialized restoration equipment to dry out structures and prevent mold growth Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment during all phases of restoration projects Document work progress and communicate effectively with team members and clients Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored after use

Skills

Experience with cleaning procedures and techniques preferred but not required Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently Basic knowledge of construction practices is advantageous Familiarity with restoration processes including water extraction, mold remediation, or fire damage repair is a plus Ability to operate power tools safely and responsibly Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
