Training Consultant

Reports to:

Director of Training

Please note this role has an irregular work schedule and requires travel across Canada for up to 3 weeks at a time while opening new restaurants.*

The Training Consultant provides the Franchise Partner and their teams guidance and

coaching that enhances operational efficiency, upholds brand standards, and creates

exceptional guest experiences. Training Consultants assess training needs, work with

the team to design training tools, and implement effective strategies that optimize

restaurant performance and ensure compliance with the Pur & Simple operating

systems and standards. The Training Consultant leads restaurant openings and plays a

major role in restaurant set-up as well as Franchise Partner and restaurant team

training. They share the responsibility of protecting the Pur & Simple experience and

reputation.

Duties and Responsibilities



? Effectively and successfully manage Pur & Simple restaurant openings in the

BOH, FOH, and Management training roles.

? Monitor franchise operations to ensure consistent achievement and execution of

food safety, quality, hospitality, and cleanliness standards. Utilize Pur & Simple

operating systems and standards.

? Protect Pur & Simple's brand equity and value by ensuring consistent franchise

execution and delivery of approved products, procedural compliance, menu

compliance, trademark protection, and Pur & Simple's standards.

? Plan and conduct working store visits with each Franchise Partner to ensure the

continual improvement of quality, hospitality, and cleanliness standards, including

the monitoring of food product quality.

? Provide advice and counsel using approved Pur & Simple systems and tools for

the betterment of the financial health of the franchise operation.

? Manage store requirements for new products and menu rollouts/procedures.

? Assist Franchise Partners in executing human resource programs, training plans,

and coaching as required so that all restaurants stay current in the execution of

brand programs.

? Conduct Franchise Partner and restaurant employee training as needed for

restaurant openings and ongoing training initiatives.

? Review proper execution of operations (systems/routines) both brand and

business compliance touch-points

? Develop respectful working relationships with all Franchise Partners, trainers,

and team members.

? Enhance the Pur & Simple team culture by developing/maintaining positive

relationships.

? Be a highly motivated team player and facilitate a positive team environment,

which will provide VALUE to our Franchise Partners on every store visit.

? Lead by example and develop team members' passion to be guest-centric.

? Create an environment and culture that is passionate about providing guestcentric

experiences and hospitality.

? Communicate the directives of Pur & Simple Restaurants Inc. to Franchise

Partners in a clear and supportive manner.

? Full documentation of all visits using the prescribed Pur & Simple approved

forms and processes.

? Attendance at all training meetings regarding the operations and training needs

of Pur & Simple Restaurants Inc.

? Attendance and participation in all Pur & Simple company functions.

? Assist in new store hiring, training, and post-opening support.

? Assist in the development of team member incentive programs within the

locations and from head office.

? Comply with the general expectations of conduct of Pur & Simple Restaurants

Inc.

Qualifications:



? 3-5 years of full-service franchise restaurant environment or other related

experience. New store opening experience is preferred, but not required.

? Minimum 1 year of leadership/supervisory experience.

? Must have or be able to obtain valid Food Handler and Alcohol Service

certifications.

? Strong analytical skills along with the ability to manage priorities and multiple

projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

? Strong troubleshooter with the ability to see implications and provide creative

solutions and recommendations.

? Honesty, integrity, and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

? Strong written and verbal communication skills.

? Proficient in MS Office.

? Strong organizational and time management skills using Outlook or other

scheduling programs.

Working conditions:

? Ability to travel according to the needs of the business.
