Job Summary

Duties

Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders and payments. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the restaurant. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality presentation. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Support other team members as needed to maintain a smooth operation.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling practices is advantageous. Basic math skills are required for cash handling and order processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for interacting with guests effectively.
