Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and ensure all food items are handled safely and in accordance with food safety regulations. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to accurately process customer orders and payments. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in both the dining area and kitchen. Handle cash transactions with accuracy while adhering to cash handling procedures. Support serving staff during busy periods by assisting with food delivery and upselling menu items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in food service roles. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively. Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is an advantage. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the food industry are highly valued.
