NOT FOR STUDENTS Restaurant Manager Duties: - Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Manage and train restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Create and implement policies and procedures to improve restaurant efficiency
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Collaborate with the chef to create new menu items and specials
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates and provide training Qualifications: - Previous experience in food service or restaurant management is required
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions
- Proficient in supervising staff and managing schedules
- Familiarity with bartending techniques is a plus
- Experience in hotel or hospitality industry is beneficial
