We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage and train restaurant staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Implement effective marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
Monitor financial performance, including cash handling procedures and POS system management.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant premises.
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
Experience in team management, with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
Bartending skills are a plus, enhancing service versatility.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff alike.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience as a cook is beneficial for understanding kitchen operations.
