JOB OVERVIEW

: The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for demonstrating an exceptional level of guest service standards and supporting the front of house service staff on the floor. The ideal candidate will bring leadership experience from a similar environment, as well as best practices in guest service, staff management, operations, safety and compliance and is a natural leader.

Reports to:

Assistant General Manager

Essential Job Functions:



Ensure smooth daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely stock replenishment.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards.

Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate restaurant staff, including AM and PM servers, and bartenders.

Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns or conflicts promptly.

Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Monitor and improve customer service practices to exceed guest expectations.

Handle special requests and accommodate dietary restrictions when necessary.

Monitor the restaurant's financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability.

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management review.

Implement cost-control measures to maximize profits without compromising quality.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and ensure that sanitation levels are maintained.

Manage and handle all post billing charges and additional administrative tasks when required.

Attend department meetings when requested to do so.

Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Essential Job Requirements:

Demonstrate competence in technical areas of inventory, F&B costs, asset control, scheduling, payroll and labour management. Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking skills and be able to manage multiple projects successfully Foster a climate of continuous learning, growth and improvement, with a strong commitment to the development of others Minimum two (2) years' experience in a similar position within a fast-paced restaurant or a Bachelor degree or diploma in hotel and restaurant management or related (preferred), This is primarily a physical role, must have the ability to climb, stand extended periods of time, walk, lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 45lbs
