We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
Manage daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards.
Utilize POS systems (including Micros POS) for cash handling and transaction management.
Train, supervise, and mentor staff to foster a positive work environment and enhance team performance.
Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new team members to build a strong workforce.
Maintain compliance with health regulations and food safety standards.
Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and efficient kitchen operations.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food service industry.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Proficient in cash handling procedures and experience with POS systems (Micros POS preferred).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience in interviewing, training, and developing staff members.
