Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and providing recommendations to enhance their meal.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions are noted. Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments accurately, including cash handling and credit card transactions. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between customers. Assist with food preparation as needed during busy shifts.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role. Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus.
