Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food service. This role is ideal for individuals interested in the food industry, with a focus on meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. The Kitchen Helper will play an essential role in assisting with food preparation, cooking, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for meals Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and maintaining cooking stations Help with food service duties, including serving dishes and ensuring timely delivery of meals Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and proper waste disposal Handle food safely by following established hygiene protocols and safety guidelines Organize and restock kitchen supplies to ensure smooth workflow during meal service Support the team in meal assembly and presentation to uphold quality standards

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is a plus but not mandatory Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward learning new skills Basic understanding of serving, cooking, and meal preparation techniques Willingness to adhere to health and safety regulations within the kitchen setting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$20.05 per hour
