Cashier and Kitchen Helper Position

The Company: Ignite Pizzeria creates handmade artisanal pizza in a stone-baked oven, seeking quality, consistency, generosity, and honesty in all that we do.

The Position: We're looking for a Cashier that can also perform Kitchen Helper duties, part-time. The pay range depends on experience.

The Location: 508 W Cordova St, Vancouver, BC V6B 0G8

Job Types: Part-time (20-30 hours), Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour

Requirements:

Experience working in a kitchen environment is an asset 1 year of experience working in customer service and a kitchen environment A friendly disposition and passionate work ethic Ability to work a combination of days, evenings, and weekends Food safety experience is an asset Great communication and listening skills Ability to lift 25 pounds
Responsibilities:

Greeting customers, bringing orders to guests at their table Answering the phone with a friendly tone and helping with customer queries. Helping to maintain a clean restaurant environment at all times, following a checklist and schedule and maintaining a sanitary space. Teamwork / able to share the workload with other team members and help with other kitchen duties as required Ingredient preparation for a variety of toppings Ability to work in a busy restaurant environment Ability to follow stock and manage ingredient inventory Ensure the proper maintenance and care of equipment
