We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with a focus on customer service, staff management, and operational efficiency. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our guests while managing the restaurant's financial performance and team dynamics.
Duties
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to build a skilled and motivated team.
Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
Utilize POS systems for cash handling and sales tracking.
Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation in line with restaurant guidelines.
Monitor customer service levels to ensure guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
Develop budgets and manage financial reports to maintain profitability.
Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and quality control.
Lead shift management activities, including scheduling staff and managing workflow during peak hours.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or similar roles within the food service industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is preferred.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Proficient in cash handling and financial management practices.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary experience is an asset.
Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience in training & development of staff members is highly valued.
