We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. Duties
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food preparation
Manage staff schedules, training, and development to enhance team performance
Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and ensure adequate stock levels
Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and health standards
Utilize POS systems for cash handling and transaction processing
Supervise kitchen operations, including cooking, food production, and presentation
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
Develop budgets and monitor financial performance to achieve operational goals
Conduct interviews and hire new staff members as needed
Foster a positive dining experience through effective team management and hospitality
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices
Experience with inventory control and budgeting in a restaurant setting
Familiarity with POS systems such as Squirrel is preferred
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate staff
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience in casual dining or fine dining establishments is an advantage
Knowledge of health regulations and food safety standards is essential
