We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and possess strong leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse team. This role requires a deep understanding of the food industry, including kitchen operations, cash handling, and food safety protocols. The Restaurant Manager will ensure that our guests receive an outstanding dining experience while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.
Manage and train staff in customer service, food preparation, and safety protocols.
Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce.
Implement effective team management strategies to foster a positive work environment.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Utilize POS systems for order processing and financial reporting.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
Experience
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial reporting.
Knowledge of food handling practices and health regulations is essential.
Previous experience in interviewing and training staff is preferred.
A background in hotel management is a plus but not required.
