What we need
Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage, the
Restaurant Manager
will assist and monitor the quality of work of the Front of House artisans. The incumbent will be in charge of scheduling teams and will assist in the smooth running of operations and the establishment of standards and procedures. A successful leader in this role demonstrates integrity, communicates with clarity and empathy, and fosters a culture of collaboration. With an energetic spirit, adaptability, and a positive mindset, they inspire confidence in their team while remaining resilient under pressure. What you'll do
Management Activities: planning, organization, and control
Ensure respect of organizational standards regarding Restaurant operations;
Ensure the day-to-day application of standards and laws on alcoholic beverages, hygiene, sanitation, health and safety at work;
Implement, and maintain processes to enhance the guest's experience of feeling somewhere else;
Follow-up and quickly resolve guest feedback;
Perform weekly inventory checks, maintain par stocks and fill orders;
Perform other related duties.
Leadership and collaboration
Participate in the recruitment, selection, training, development and evaluation of artisans;
Participate in the development of work schedules in a proactive fashion to ensure the restaurant is well managed and staffed;
Supervise artisans in order to maintain a work climate conducive to the retention and mobilization of personnel;
Ensures good team spirit and good synergy within all departments
Profile needed
What is the profile needed in order to be successful
in this position
College degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major or relevant experience;
Minimum three (3) years of experience in food & beverage and customer service, including experience with POS systems;
Minimum two (2) years in a management position;
Knowledge of wine characteristics and pairings;
Strong sense of hospitality;
Ability to resolve issues quickly; action and results-oriented;
Inspirational and dynamic leader;
Possess strong interpersonal and social skills; sense of challenge, perseverance;
Good physical condition; must be able frequently lift up to 50 lbs (23kg) and be able to work in a standing position for long period of time (up to 8 hours);
Ability to communicate clearly with guests, managers and other associates;
Possess a very good sense of organization, planning and monitoring, as well as great professional rigor.
When
You will work a varying schedule which requires flexibility to work weekends, days, evenings and holidays. This is a full time position (40 hours/week).
