As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of service, and maximizing profitability. You will lead and motivate the team, manage budgets, and maintain a positive work culture for staff. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities. Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure a high level of service and efficiency while maintaining a positive work environment. Monitor and manage budgets, including labor costs, food costs, liquor wine and beer costs, and other operational expenses. Ensure compliance with WorkSafe BC regulations, BC liquor licenses, all operating permits, and industry standards. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Handle staff complaints in a professional and timely manner with assistance of the General Manager and the Human Resources department. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure menu quality and consistency for our guests. Be involved in the planning and execution of marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain guests. Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed. Review sales and performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for the restaurant's growth.

Qualifications



Minimum of 7 years experience in a Restaurant Management position. Serving It Right Certificate required. First aid certification and/or Food Safe certification is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Squirrel POS is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. Effective communication skills. Experience in cash handling and financial management within a restaurant setting.

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
