Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Restaurant Manager

to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food quality and safety, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering a welcoming environment for guests. A background in food preparation, kitchen management, and hospitality is highly valued to ensure smooth service and adherence to industry standards. Hotel background is highly preferred.

Responsibilities



Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling to maintain high-quality standards. Manage staff schedules, conduct interviews, and oversee team management to ensure optimal staffing levels. Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations. Handle POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems for accurate cash handling and billing. Lead customer service efforts to ensure guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food industry best practices for cost control. Train and mentor staff on food safety, hospitality standards, and operational procedures. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area aligned with safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff on food quality and presentation standards. Implement policies for efficient restaurant management while fostering a positive team environment.

Qualifications



Five Plus years proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food service or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations. Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively. Previous experience in unionized environments. Background in food handling, customer service, and restaurant operations. Ability to manage cash handling accurately and efficiently. Previous experience in hotel or barista environments is a plus. Exceptional communication skills with a focus on teamwork and guest relations. Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in restaurant management. Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
