Responsibilities



Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth daily functions. Supervise and train team members on food handling, customer service, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and safety protocols to foster a high-performing team. Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiency. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations through regular kitchen inspections and staff training on proper food handling procedures. Handle cash management duties including cash handling, shift reconciliation, and balancing registers accurately. Lead hiring efforts by interviewing candidates, onboarding new staff, and developing ongoing training programs to enhance team skills. Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain quality control in food production, catering services, banquet events, and quick-service operations. Monitor budget adherence, optimize operational costs, and implement strategies to improve overall restaurant performance. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Skills



Extensive experience in food service management within casual dining or quick-service restaurants; fine dining or hotel experience is a plus. Strong culinary background with knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen management. Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or food industry settings; capable of training and developing staff effectively. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently. Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, cash handling, and food safety practices to ensure operational excellence. Ability to manage multiple priorities during shift management while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. Experience with catering events, banquet services, bar operations including barista or coffee experience is advantageous. Strong communication skills for interviewing candidates, team management, and collaborating across departments. Pay: From $19.50 per hour
