Responsibilities
Lead and supervise restaurant staff to ensure efficient and professional food service delivery
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management and customer service standards
Manage food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
Monitor inventory levels, control stock, and coordinate food ordering to minimize waste
Train new staff members on food handling, customer service, and restaurant procedures
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all departments
Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to maximize profitability
Maintain high standards of hospitality management by fostering a welcoming atmosphere for guests
Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and ongoing training & development initiatives
Implement quality assurance programs to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence
Qualifications
Proven management experience within the food industry, ideally in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments
Strong background in food safety practices and kitchen management
Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and cost management
Demonstrated leadership skills with team management, supervising experience, and staff training capabilities
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently handle cash handling procedures
Culinary experience or food preparation skills are preferred but not mandatory
Previous experience in hotel or bar management is advantageous
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Exceptional communication skills with experience in interviewing and staff development
