We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality dining experience while managing staff, inventory, and compliance with food safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.
Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting professional development.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and presentation standards.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of cash handling, inventory management, and employee schedules.
Implement food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Utilize POS systems (including Micros POS) for efficient order processing and financial tracking.
Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process to build a strong team.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize menu offerings based on customer preferences and seasonal availability.
Monitor restaurant performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Experience with cash handling procedures and financial reporting.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervision.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
