As a Restaurant Manager, you are an enthusiastic role model and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service for every guest, every time. In this position you will:
Manage the shift by ensuring your team has all the tools they need to succeed
Follow Tim Hortons standards and guidelines when preparing products for our guests as well as follow all operating guidelines for each piece of equipment
Recruit, train, and coach a diverse team to achieve and maintain Tim Hortons high standards of operation
Promote a respectful team environment and manage team members with open communication and understanding
Manage inventory and ordering
Prepare the weekly restaurant schedule
Managing the restaurant to ensure financial targets are met as well as Tim Hortons operating standards
Growing the business and sales
Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and quality in all aspects of service
Manage staff performance through effective team management, training, and development
Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and safety
Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately using Micros POS systems
Conduct interviews and hire new staff to build a skilled and motivated team
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative menu offerings that enhance the dining experience
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency
Foster a positive work culture that encourages teamwork, hospitality, and professional growth
Experience
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership skills
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling
Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus
Barista experience is advantageous but not required
