Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Restaurant Manager

to oversee daily operations at our bustling dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in casual dining, fine dining, or quick service restaurants is highly valued, along with a background in hospitality management and culinary operations.

Duties



Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and cleanliness standards Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure efficient team performance Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food and beverage costs Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth transitions between team members during busy hours Oversee kitchen management including food production, quality control, and kitchen staff supervision Handle budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to optimize restaurant profitability Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a strong team Lead staff training initiatives focused on food safety, hospitality standards, and operational procedures Manage catering events, banquets, or bar services as needed to enhance guest satisfaction

Requirements



Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in casual dining or quick service environments Strong background in food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover and Touchbistro; cash handling expertise required Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising teams and staff training & development Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within a restaurant setting Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel experience is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and lead team meetings Culinary experience or barista/coffee experience is advantageous but not mandatory A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on operational excellence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
