The Pinawa Club is a year-round, 175-seat restaurant overlooking the Pinawa Golf Course, serving both members and the public. We offer high-quality dining and memorable events year-round.
We're seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant operation. The ideal candidate will have initiative, strong leadership and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations.
Direct, schedule and supervise 15-30 staff.
Track budgets in conjunction with the finance manager.
Ensure high level of customer service.
Provide duties as a 'hands-on' employee when required.
Attend board meetings and report to the board on financial performance and operations.
Qualifications (Required):
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Experience with POS systems in a restaurant environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
Work well under pressure.
Qualifications (Desired):
5+ years of management experience in the food industry.
Experience working in a unionized environment.
