Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. This is a maternity leave position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for hospitality. As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating an enjoyable dining experience for our guests while managing daily operations effectively.
Responsibilities
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
• Supervise and train staff, including kitchen and front-of-house employees, to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Implement and uphold health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team on food preparation and presentation.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and employee performance.
• Develop staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote special events or menu items.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Familiarity with POS systems for order management
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
• Background in bartending or hotel management is a plus.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
