Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service. As the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that our guests receive top-notch service in a welcoming environment.
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
Manage and train staff, including interviewing, hiring, and scheduling team members.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of food safety and handling.
Utilize POS systems (including Micros POS) for cash handling and transaction management.
Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food costs effectively.
Implement training programs for staff on food safety practices and customer service excellence.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant in accordance with health regulations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems (Micros POS preferred).
Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Previous experience in supervising staff is essential; hotel or barista experience is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
