About the Employer



A dynamic and fast-growing South Asian flavourful food and dessert brand operating across Canada and the USA, is seeking proactive and detail-oriented Restaurant Manager (to manage multiple locations) to join their expanding team. This brand is known for its premium quality, customer-first approach, and modern take on traditional flavors.

Key Responsibilities:



As Restaurant Manager (Multi-Unit), you will engage in:

Operations & Leadership



Oversee day-to-day FOH & BOH operations across multiple locations.

Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and compliance (health & safety, local regulations).

Implement operational SOPs to ensure consistency across all branches.

Manage inventory control, cost analysis, and supplier negotiations.

Team Management & HR



Recruit, train, and develop FOH & BOH staff to deliver exceptional service.

Create and execute training programs for staff, focusing on hospitality standards, upselling, and compliance.

Manage scheduling, payroll, and employee performance reviews.

Business Development & Sales



Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and profitability.

Analyze competition and market trends to stay ahead.

Assist in new location openings including planning, hiring, and setup.

Menu & Marketing



Collaborate with chefs and culinary team on menu development and seasonal promotions.

Drive brand visibility through social media, influencer partnerships, and marketing campaigns.

Ensure menus meet customer preferences and profitability targets.

Required Qualifications:



Minimum 6+ years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 2 years in a multi-unit role.

Proven experience in FOH & BOH management, HR, and business administration.

Strong knowledge of sales, marketing, social media trends, and customer engagement strategies.

Hands-on experience with opening new restaurant locations.

Familiarity with health & safety regulations, labor laws, and compliance.

Knowledge of different cuisines (especially multicultural or fusion) is a strong asset.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to analyze financial reports (P&L) and improve profitability.

Education & Certifications:



Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or Culinary Arts degree preferred.

Food Safety & Handling Certification and First Aid/CPR an asset.

Base Salary Range (Annual)



Mid-level experience (6-8 yrs): CAD $55,000 - plus Incentive.



Senior / Multi-unit experience (8+ yrs): CAD $65,000 - plus Incentive.



Incentive Structure (Performance-Based)



1. Annual Performance Bonus (10%-20% of Base Salary)



Sales Growth:

Meeting or exceeding revenue targets (e.g., 10%-20% growth YoY).

Cost Control:

Maintaining food and labor cost within target percentages.

Customer Satisfaction:

Based on reviews, feedback scores, and mystery audits.

Compliance:

Passing health & safety audits, brand SOP adherence.

Example:

$55,000 base salary + if 15% performance bonus = $63,500 total potential compensation.

$65,000 base salary + if 15% performance bonus = $74750 total potential compensation.

2. New Location Opening Bonus



One time flat amount per successful store launch:

$2,500 - $5,000 per location
