Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and customer service skills. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality dining experience while managing staff, inventory, and compliance with food safety regulations.

Duties

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and quality service. Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately, including Micros POS systems. Conduct interviews and hire new staff members to build a skilled workforce. Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards in all kitchen operations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menus that align with customer preferences and seasonal offerings. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships effectively.

Experience

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry - Mediterranean cuisine preferred Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices. Previous supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction. Background in serving or barista roles is advantageous for understanding front-of-house operations.
