We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, ensuring exceptional service and a positive dining experience for our guests. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, food preparation, and customer service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant.
Handle cash management, including cash handling procedures and POS system operations (Micros POS).
Conduct interviews, hire new staff, and provide ongoing training to enhance team performance.
Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and quality control.
Monitor restaurant performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and kitchen operations.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
Experience with POS systems, specifically Micros POS is preferred.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial reporting.
Background in food preparation, cooking, or barista experience is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
