Job Description

Our Winery is seeking a Restaurant Manager to assure the daily operations of the winery are running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced and slow paced environement and handle both. This includes direct supervision and training of tastingroom associates, monitoring day to day housekeeping, and preparing reports. The ideal candidate is also highly responsible, motivated, patient and friendly with our guests. The Restaurant Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Effective hiring, training and management of employees to maximize performance and guest experience
• Manage tasting room
• Creating a positive, rewarding and safe environment among front and back of house teams. Creating a community of support!
• Ensuring guest experience satisfaction; respond to guest reviews and complaints
• Work with Chef in regards to menu, kitchen staffing needs and events.
• Work with operations manager on scheduling, according to forecasted sales and labor targets
• Provide updated menus for seating and to team for company website.
• Collaborate with social media/advertising efforts in order to properly reflection of our brand and products.
• Ensure facilities properly maintained and appealing to guests, coordinating with the groundskeeper.
• Monitor that all health and safety standards are adhered to (This includes mental health)
• Distribute Tips fairly and generate a report for staff and management.
