We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, showcasing expertise in restaurant management, customer service, and team leadership. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure smooth operations, maintain high standards of food safety, and foster a positive work environment.
Duties
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and quality service.
Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high culinary standards.
Supervise staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Implement and uphold food safety protocols and hygiene standards.
Handle cash management duties, including cash handling and POS operations (Touch Bistro and Sage HR preferred).
Provide excellent customer service, addressing any guest concerns promptly.
Conduct interviews and hire staff to build a strong team.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Develop strategies to enhance restaurant performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
Experience with POS systems; familiarity time clocks, Touch Bistro and Sage HR a bonus
Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Strong communication skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
