Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional customer service, and a comprehensive understanding of food service management. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies Evaluate daily operations Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget Monitor revenues to determine labour cost Monitor staff performance Plan and organize daily operations Recruit staff Set staff work schedules Supervise staff Train staff Conduct performance reviews Cost products and services Organize and maintain inventory Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities Participate in marketing plans and implementation Address customers' complaints or concerns Provide customer service Manage events

Experience

Smart Serve Safe Food Handling certificate Food Safety Certificate 3 years to 5 years experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience MS Access MS Excel MS Office MS Outlook MS PowerPoint MS Windows MS Word Point of sale system Spreadsheet Basic security clearance

Must have
