Duties
Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff, including interviewing and training new team members
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Monitor restaurant operations to maximize efficiency and profitability
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols
Lead team management efforts, including scheduling, supervising shifts, and motivating staff
Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing vendor relationships
Implement hospitality best practices to enhance guest experience
Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting, and maintaining cleanliness standards
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Proficiency with POS systems like Micros POS and cash handling procedures
Excellent team management, supervising experience, and leadership skills
Ability to train staff in food handling, serving, and hospitality protocols
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Experience with interviewing potential employees and building effective teams
Knowledge of kitchen operations, food industry standards, and restaurant experience
Hospitality background including hotel or barista experience is a plus
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
