OVERVIEW: On The Boardwalk Caf\xc3\xa9 and Wine is a modern restaurant offering a fine dining experience in a bistro style environment. We strive to provide a superior dining experience for our customers that will leave them returning over and over again. We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager that will oversee day-to-day operations, hire and train qualified staff members, and maintain high food standards. The Restaurant Manager will also be responsible for developing a positive brand image through consistent customer service and a positive attitude, they will help contribute to the growth and popularity of our restaurant, as well as the long-term success of our employees. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and maintain smooth restaurant operations \xe2\x80\x93 work with Head Chef, Event Manager, and Staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our customers
- Maintain a positive restaurant culture
- Hire and train new employees to help them meet the restaurant\xe2\x80\x99s expectations
- Interact with diners and build positive rapport with customers
- Engage with the community by executing marketing initiatives
- General administrative functions including staff work scheduling, payroll management, and facility maintenance
- Supervise waitstaff, provide necessary feedback
- Communicate with diners and mitigate potential conflicts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills

- Strong knowledge of Touch Bistro software
- Clear attention to detail

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
