We are looking for an energetic professional Restaurant Manager to join our team. The Restaurant Manager is an integral contributor to the success of the restaurant, and is responsible for all FOH operations ensuring best in class service.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Shift Management
Open and close the restaurant, performing all duties including cleaning, stocking, and organizing
Communicate with the chefs on the upcoming service including specials, guest allergies or requests, and special occasions
Fully stock the wine fridge and drinks fridge
Receive and put away all wine orders
Work the floor each night, serving tables, opening and pouring wine
Ring in all orders through the POS, properly tracking sales
Make quick and accurate decisions on the floor in accordance with company philosophies and business practices, demonstrating your ability to effectively problem-solve in real time
Guest Relations Management
Work the room during service, touching and serving tables, interacting with guests to ensure everyone is having a great time
Provide exceptional guest service, thereby setting the standard for all employees
Respond to guest feedback promptly as it arises, taking great care to make things right
Advise guests on wine recommendations
Financial Management
Perform EOD and cash reconciliation each night
Conduct weekly inventory on all wine, beer, and non-alcoholic items
Track inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and ensure accurate pricing and cost calculations are being met
Place orders with wine, beer, and beverage suppliers ensuring proper stock consistency
Ensure all wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverage COGS align with company targets
Monitor the proper use of the POS system, ensuring all items are rung in accurately and tracked
Operational Management
Conduct daily venue walk-throughs to verify compliance with health and safety standards
Ensure the restaurant and bar are following safe service of alcohol in compliance with all local, provincial, and federal regulations
Identify all necessary repair and maintenance issues
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years experience as a Restaurant Manager, Dining Room Manager, Service Manager, or similar role in a fine-dining restaurant
5+ years experience as a Restaurant Server or Bartender in a fine-dining restaurant
Must be able to demonstrate industry expected wine knowledge (WSET, CMS, or ISG certification preferred)
Must possess a strong attention to detail
Must possess strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to build relationships
Highly motivated with a key focus to work effectively as a team
Demonstrated knowledge of financial and operational management
Must be able to communicate (speak and write) fluently in English
Must be available to work evenings and weekends

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
