Job Description
Graze is a family-friendly restaurant in downtown Canmore serving comfort food to locals and visitors since 2009. We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations and support continued growth. This role offers autonomy within the established Graze concept.
The restaurant has
40 indoor seats
and a39-seat patio
during summerJob Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and continuously develop a high-performing restaurant team. Create and manage staff schedules to meet operational needs while controlling labor costs.
Lead by example with a hands-on management approach
Actively direct and participate in daily floor operations to ensure exceptional guest service and smooth service flow. Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and food handling regulations. Develop and refine menus aligned with Graze's customer base, brand identity, and kitchen capabilities. Monitor and maintain - Inventory, supplier network, labor & food cost Ensure consistent food presentation, quality, portion control, and execution across all menu items. Drive brand awareness and guest traffic through social media engagement and local marketing initiatives.Prerequisites / Qualifications
2+ years experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role. Handle staffing, compliance, and local community engagement Strong knowledge of FOH and BOH operations. Must have or willing to obtain Food safety & Pro Serve certification Familiarity with POS systems and basic reporting. Good understanding of the local community and customer base. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Passion for hospitality, quality food, and team leadership.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$66,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
