Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
Lead and motivate a team of servers, cooks, and staff to achieve operational excellence
Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to maintain quality standards
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
Conduct interviewing and hiring of new staff members; oversee training and development
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards
Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock control
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and enhance guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
Implement policies related to hospitality, service standards, and operational procedures
Experience
Proven supervisory experience in a restaurant or food service environment
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
Knowledge of restaurant management practices including cash handling, inventory control, and customer service excellence
Prior experience in hospitality or hotel industry is a plus
Barista experience or bar management background is advantageous but not required
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview and train staff effectively
