A Journey Club Restaurant Manager you are the face of the Culinary Department and will directly contribute to the overall success of our Luxury Senior's Residence and it's people. You are responsible for your team's delivery of a seamless and orchestracted performance of high-end hospitality.

A day in the life of a Restaurant Manager at the Journey Club:
Develop and implement techniques and resources designed to always attain and maintain one hundred (100%) occupancy through the creation and execution of programming and events.
Handle scheduling, payroll, sick calls and vacation time requests for the FOH team.
Handle performance management and disciplinary actions for the FOH team.
Work with our Executive Chef to build and implement menus that exceed dietary requirements and resident preferences.
In association with our Recreation Manager, help organize and coordinate all programs and activities related to F&B (ei: Happy Hour, High Tea, special holidays...)
Create a bar/beverage program and maintain inventory and ordering.
In partnership with the Executive Chef, hire and retain a full complement of serving staff, putting in place all training and development necessary to provide excellence in all aspects of service.
Take charge of our POS Volante platform for tickets, A La Carte revenue reconciliation, meal plans input, etc.
Ensure The Journey Club exceeds the standards set by Regulatory bodies such as Public Health & Accommodation Standards.
Build a knowledge base of operating best practices, procedures, and policies as they relate to Food Services.
Follow the approved operating budget in a manner that can enable the achievement of the targeted NOI.
Monitor and assess Resident satisfaction through continued personal interactions as well as through Town Hall meetings and surveys.
Ensure that day-to-day restaurant and kitchen maintenance issues are addressed and resolved adequately.
Submit reports, invoices, and other financials, record revenue and expenses on a regular basis in accordance with NLG guidelines.
