Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of quality in both food preparation and service.

Responsibilities



Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company policies. Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a productive team environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, aiming for complete satisfaction. Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary while managing costs effectively. Implement food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations. Utilize POS systems (including Micros POS) for cash handling and transaction management. Conduct interviews for new hires, focusing on building a skilled and motivated team. Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menu items that align with customer preferences and seasonal ingredients. Foster a positive work culture that encourages teamwork, hospitality, and continuous improvement.

Experience



Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. Experience with POS systems; familiarity with Micros POS is preferred. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues amicably. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous; barista experience is also a plus. Strong leadership qualities coupled with effective communication skills are required.
