Duties
Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff, including interviewing and hiring new team members
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Manage daily restaurant operations, including POS systems such as Micros POS
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns and maintaining high satisfaction levels
Monitor food safety compliance and enforce health regulations
Lead team management initiatives, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Oversee cash handling procedures and financial transactions accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
Assist with food industry best practices, including hospitality standards and serving protocols
Collaborate with kitchen staff on food preparation and menu execution to uphold quality standards
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or related roles within the food industry
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in a hospitality setting
Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Ability to manage team dynamics effectively, including interviewing and training new staff
Knowledge of food handling regulations and health standards
Experience with cash handling and financial transactions accurately
Prior restaurant experience in a fast-paced environment; hotel or barista experience is a plus
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
