We are excited to announce an immediate opening for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our team at our bustling Calgary location.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee all aspects of our Calgary operation. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader who can drive sales, manage costs, ensure the highest standards of service and quality, and foster a positive working environment. This is a full-time position with immediate hiring.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations and Service Excellence
Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and health and safety compliance.
Oversee inventory, ordering, and vendor relations.
Handle guest complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
Leadership and Team Management
Recruit, train, mentor, and manage all front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and labor cost management.
Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Work closely with the Head Chef to promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and high performance.
Work closely with the Regional Manager, Head Office and Ownership to ensure all of our standards are upheld to the highest degree
Financial and Administrative Management
Manage the restaurant's budget, including labor and food costs, to meet profitability targets.
Process payroll and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
Work with the ownership team to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies.
Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2-5 years of progressive experience in restaurant management.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a large team.
Strong knowledge of P&L statements, budgeting, and cost control.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Expertise in food and beverage operations, particularly in a high-volume dining setting.
Familiarity with Spanish cuisine and wine is an asset.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
