Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Hostess/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The restaurant is located in Kahnawake and the shifts are Friday nights, Saturday nights, and Sunday mornings.

As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth operations within the restaurant. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest expectations will contribute significantly to our hospitality standards.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods, ensuring timely communication with guests. Provide menus and inform guests about specials or promotions. Assist with customer inquiries and provide information about the restaurant's offerings. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Handle phone calls with professionalism, addressing reservations or inquiries promptly. Support the dining room staff by assisting with table settings and clearing as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or food service environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, enhancing efficiency in managing orders and reservations. Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for providing excellent customer service and helping others enjoy their dining experience.
