Position Summary



We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead daily operations at our restaurant. The GM is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, building and developing a high-performing team, and ensuring operational and financial success. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership, hands-on management, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities



Operational Leadership



Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house. Maintain standards of service, cleanliness, food quality, and workplace safety. Act as Manager-on-Duty (MOD), providing leadership presence and clear communication across departments.

Team & Culture Development



Recruit, train, and mentor staff at all levels. Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work culture. Partner with HR on scheduling, performance management, and compliance.

Guest Experience



Ensure every guest enjoys a memorable, high-quality dining experience. Handle guest concerns and feedback with professionalism and care. Uphold hospitality standards and consistency in service delivery.

Financial & Strategic Oversight



Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, labor costs, and cost of goods sold (COGS). Manage budgets, forecasting, and vendor relationships. Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams to support promotions, events, and growth strategies.

Qualifications



Minimum 4 years of leadership experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and POS systems. Ability to lead by example and motivate diverse teams. Food Safety Certification or equivalent is an asset.
