We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a strong background in restaurant management, and the ability to inspire and motivate staff. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining high standards of food quality and service, and fostering a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Handle cash management and financial transactions accurately.
Conduct interviews, hire, train, and develop team members to create a skilled workforce.
Maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation in accordance with health regulations.
Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation policies.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders effectively.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative menu items that align with customer preferences.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Excellent cash handling skills with a keen attention to detail.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, bartending, and kitchen operations is preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
