Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional Southern Hospitality and lead a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will possess incredibly strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for the food industry with a particular interest in BBQ & Southern Culture. This role involves managing all aspects of restaurant performance, including staff supervision, food safety, and guest satisfaction, to create a welcoming and efficient dining environment with strong sales top of mind from every angle.

Salary:

$120K Base + Bonus Potential $38K +

Experience Required:

5+ Management of Sports Lounge or High Volume Casual Restaurant, Kitchen Training or Depth of Experience is an asset. You MUST be

highly tech savvy

Responsibilities

Revenue Generation: Ability to propose revenue generating strategies to constantly push to meet and exceed sales targets. Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members. Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to ensure quality standards are met. Manage daily restaurant operations, including POS systems (such as Micros POS), cash handling, and inventory control. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to optimize productivity. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to maintain excellent customer service levels. Coordinate with kitchen staff on food quality, presentation, and timely service. Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Monitor financial performance by analyzing sales data and controlling costs. Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality, and leadership.

Skills



Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership roles. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards. Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential. Excellent team management skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively. Experience in interviewing and hiring new team members. Deep understanding of the food service industry, including customer service excellence. Ability to lead by example in food handling, hospitality, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment. Experience with restaurant operations management tools and software. Additional experience in hotel or barista roles is a plus but not required; familiarity with the broader food industry is advantageous.
