We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in restaurant management. This role requires effective communication, organizational abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service. As a Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring efficient restaurant operations, and driving sales performance.

Duties

Supervise daily store operations to ensure high standards of guest service and operational efficiency. Train, develop, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance. Manage inventory control, merchandising strategies, and pricing to maximize sales opportunities. Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate bookkeeping practices. Conduct interviews and assist with recruiting efforts to build a strong team. Collaborate with management on budgeting and financial planning for the restaurant. Implement marketing strategies to drive foot traffic and increase sales. Maintain effective communication with staff regarding store policies, procedures, and promotions. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while fostering a positive work environment.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in retail management or supervising roles. Strong skills in negotiation, team management, and training & development. Proficiency in administrative tasks including payroll processing and budgeting. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and bookkeeping practices. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. A background in merchandising, sales management, or customer service is highly desirable.
