We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food quality and safety standards, and maintaining smooth restaurant operations to create a welcoming and efficient dining experience for guests.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant activities, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness.
Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure high performance and team cohesion.
Oversee food safety protocols, inventory control, and proper food handling procedures to meet health standards.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
Monitor restaurant operations during shifts to ensure quality service, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company policies.
Assist in managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing operational efficiency.
Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and resolving guest concerns promptly.
Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and quality control.
Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes for new team members.
Support catering, banquet events, or bar services as needed to enhance overall guest experience.
Qualifications
Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
Strong leadership skills with a background in staff training, supervision, and team management.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully.
Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food management practices.
Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel/restaurant environments is preferred.
Culinary experience or fine dining background is a plus.
Ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
