Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently to our guests. This position requires strong communication skills, a background in food service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Expediter will work closely with kitchen staff and servers to maintain high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely delivery. Monitor the progress of food preparation and communicate with kitchen personnel regarding order status. Ensure that all food safety standards are met during preparation, handling, and serving. Assist in meal preparation and cooking as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning kitchen equipment and dining areas. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall guest experience through effective communication.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, including roles such as server, barista, or cashier. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and food preparation methods. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling food is required. Background in hotel or restaurant settings is advantageous.
