The Life of our Restaurant and Events Supervisor:

• Responsible for leading the service team to provide consistent service by meeting and exceeding standards
• Provide on the floor support for the Restaurant and Events Manager in leading the Terrace Service team throughout service
• Motivate and develop a high-performance team of service professionals who are passionate, accountable, and actively engaged in effectively delivering 5-star dining service
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively follow up on guest requests
• Lead set-up and take down of special Private Events
• Work collaboratively with the Private Events Team to create a seamless and memorable fine dining experience
• Adhere to and communicate event plans and instructions to ensure timely completion of events
• Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Mission Hill wine and culinary offerings
• Complete supplies orders and assist in managing inventories

What We're Looking For:

• 5 years of food and beverage service experience in fine dining environments
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a fine dining environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, & Excel)
• Open and flexible schedule for the duration of the season
• Current Food Safe Level 1 and Serving It Right certifications
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in B.C.
• You thrive in ambiguity and are comfortable with change
• You put trust in others and never let anyone down
• You listen, take feedback, respond quickly, and take initiative with a sense of urgency
• You are authentic, diplomatic, thoughtful, and always have the best intentions

Pay: $48,000.00 per year
